Pensacola Bay Support Services, a Joint Venture of IAP Worldwide Services and EMCOR Government Services, has been awarded the Pensacola Base Operations Support Contract.
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for managing project material personnel and inventory technicians and ensures the proper identification of material ordering and expediting.
Essential Job Functions:
Handles inventory control requirements to include periodic physical inventory verifications and data entry/updates in various databases and spreadsheets.
Counts and sorts incoming property to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices.
Coordinates the material ordering process for multiple construction projects and validates Purchase Request.
Organizes and streamlines hardcopy filing system. Assists and maintains electronic records.
Prepares daily CDRL’s for Inventory, Receipts, Issues, and others as required by the Project.
Ensures project property is being maintained appropriately.
Updates Annual Work Plan spreadsheet of average percent of materials received by individual project work orders.
Verifies the input of purchase requests, receipts, and warehouse requisitions and oversees and manages the issuing of project materials.
Monitors and organizes ordering and expediting of construction projects materials.
Provides input in the review and implementation of bill of materials for Engineering and Planning.
Adheres and enforces the project and company safety policy and procedures.
Ensures data is imputed timely and accurately into databases and/or spreadsheets.
Performs duties cost effectively to ensure project materials are ordered timely.
Education & Experience:
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must have five (5) years' experience as Warehouseman, three (3) in a supervisory role.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Forklift certification is required.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Must have knowledge of US NAVY stock control computerized system.
