Crane Aerospace & Electronics supplies critical systems and components to the aerospace and defense markets. You’ll find Crane Aerospace & Electronics in some of the toughest environments: from engines to landing gear; from satellites to medical implants and from missiles to unmanned aerial systems (UAS).
Our product line includes custom, semi-custom and off-the-shelf power converters and custom miniature (hybrid) electronics circuits for applications across various markets including commercial, space and military aerospace and fiber optics. We have been designing and building DC/DC converters, EMI filters, and special products since 1969.
We have a unique and exciting career opportunity for a Production Supervisor II at our Fort Walton Beach, FL campus.
You will plan and direct all aspects of assigned Value Stream. Accountable for value stream’s performance and commitments to the customer with respect to safety, quality, delivery and cost. Works cooperatively with other functional leaders and managers to optimize the entire value stream in the eyes of the customer. Relentless in the pursuit of continuous improvement.
Continually supervises staff to ensure internal and external customer demands are met
Manage and direct test and assembly personnel
Direct the manufacturing of products at the lowest possible cost and the highest quality
Work and manage cross-functionally to exceed customer requirements
Drive continuous improvement
Develop and hire a skilled, technically proficient, and motivated customer-focused team
Sustain a safe workplace through the establishment and support of Company policy
Lead kaizen events
Design, develop, and implement the kaizen roadmap
Tracks team's achievement of Standard Work
Create and execute data driven action plans to improve standard work and performance
Capacity and capability planning
New equipment and capital equipment requests
Assist in achieving Strategic Plan objectives
Participates in monthly program reviews
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business
5 + years of experience in a manufacturing role focused on continuous process improvement and lean manufacturing.
Hands-on leadership of a 5+ person team
Advanced communicate skills (written and verbal).
Demonstrated ability to accurately assess KPIs
