H2 Performance Consulting (H2) is seeking System Administrator to join our current contract supporting the Naval Education and Training Command (NETC), onboard Eglin Air Force Base in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. The System Administrator provides support to NETC Learning Assessment System (LAS), which uses commercial of the shelf (COTS) application. This role serves as a technical support member of an application support team. The work also includes the following:
Deploying vendor software upgrades.
Implementing application security controls in accordance with Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) direction and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS).
Systems analysis, design, programming, integration solutions, testing, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and system documentation.
Corresponding with product vendors and other external technical support teams.
Collaborating with team members to collect requirements and derive configuration solutions to emerging integration requirements.
Requirements for performing role include:
General - Four (4) years of industry accepted Information Technology (IT) experience
Specialized - Two (2) years within the last three (3) years of intensive and current experience demonstrating proficiency working under general direction on highly complex operating systems and analysis/programming projects using programming languages/utilities for multiple operating systems and/or network operating system environments. Position requires Cyber Security Workforce (CSWF) compliance IAW DOD Directive 8140 series, DOD 8570.01-M series, SECNAV M-5239 and NETC Instruction 5239 series requirements.
Experience in administration and support of COTS web application production and test servers using Microsoft IIS.
Experience in administration and maintenance of Oracle SQL databases.
Exposure to the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
Knowledge of Web applications and services integration using .NET framework with programming languages to include PHP, JAVA, HTML, and XML.
Certifications: CompTIA Security+
Security Clearance: An active Secret security clearance is required at time of application.
- Minimum education requirement is a four (4)-year Bachelor-s level degree from an accredited college or university in a curriculum or major field of study which either (1) provides substantial knowledge in complex systems engineering, (2) is closely related to the work to be automated, or (3) is in Computer Science, a physical science or a mathematics-intensive discipline. Substitution - Directly related college-level study may be substituted for general experience (unless otherwise indicated in the skill category description) at a rate of one (1) year of study for six (6) months of experience. No more than four (4) years of study may be substituted for experience.
